9) Plant some flowers, fragrant flowers like lavender work best as will shrubs. Again nothing too luxuriant, just basic.
10) Appreciate
Once it is available zen gardens are quite low routine maintenance. That is the whole idea of them really. Less time weeding additional time relaxing. It sounds basic but this could take time. It will actually be worthwhile in the long run.
