You can create a warm compress by writing a towel and then putting it into the microwave in order to warm it up. You might also consider getting something like a hot water bottle or some other sort of warm pack that you can press against the affected area. If you do have bruising on the limbs, then make sure to raise the bruise up above your head so that the blood does not store.
Last of all, it is also very good idea to make sure that your diet is as good as it can possibly be. Bruising can also be caused by having a deficiency in vitamin K as this can cause the blood to not clot as well as possible. In addition to this you need to make sure that you are also getting vitamins C once you have had a bruise as this will help you to heal.
